FBLA

Future Business Leaders of America

All students at HHS who are interested in business and information technology are encouraged to join FBLA. This is a non-profit student organization that prepares students for careers in business and business technology. Its mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.

FBLA is an integral, co-curricular component of each business education course. FBLA serves as a means to enhance classroom instruction while helping students develop leadership abilities, expand workplace-readiness skills, and broaden opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Chapter membership dues are $25 - this includes T-shirt. FBLA activities may include field trips to business/industry to increase student knowledge of the business world, service activities that help people in need, and activities that promote good citizenship.
